Mansour ist ein Tüftler. Er hat die bestehende Form der Chusha hinterfragt und die Idee des nonpermanenten Bauens weiterentwickelt. Er ist selber viel gereist und fand auf Musikfestivals Hüttenformen, welche er adaptierte und in Abu Galum nachbaute. Grundsätzlich ist Baumaterial kostbar in der Wüste: Denn wie vieles andere auch, muss es aufwändig transportiert werden. Genauso wie Lebensmittel und jeder Tropfen Trinkwasser!
